I am recruiting on behalf of a leading company based in the Blackwood area. My client is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join its stable finance team.

The role will include the management of the financial accounting process, provision of management information, presentation of financial and management information, analysis / advice for senior management, VAT, cashflow, debtor control and general supportfor the day-to-day finance tasks.

The role will include:

Preparation / review of month end accounts;
Input into the preparation of rolling 12 month forecast;
Cashflow management including credit control;
Preparation of monthly reports for corporate and internal managers;
Monitoring capex spend;
Assistance with yearend external audits and annual internal audits;
Assistance with annual budget preparation;
Support HR with weekly payroll preparation;
Government reporting e.g. VAT, corporation tax etc.;
General support to the accounting and business team;
Adhoc reports and analysis.

The position will offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience and qualifications.

The role will be solely based in the company's offices in Blackwood.
