Description

The main duties of the role will be to undertake and manage the finances of the business, whilst managing a small team of Finance Officers, and being the right hand person to the Finance Director.

My client is able to offer a salary of circa £48,000 per annum doe plus excellent benefits.

The main duties of the role will include Manage a small team to ensure workload is planned and prioritised

Carry out regular 121 meetings and appraisals
Oversee the transactional processes effectively and efficiently
Ensure that day to day and monthly reporting and controlling processes are robust and effective
Assist the Finance Director in budgeting and forecasting
Responsible for consolidated Analysis and Reporting
Support the Finance Director in cashflow forecasting
Work with the Finance Director to produce consolidated statutory accounts
Liaise with external bodies such as the
Work with the Finance Director to produce consolidated management accounts
Support continuous improvements across the organisation
Support training across the organisation

Experience required

Previous people management experience
Relevant accounting qualification or a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing a finance team and the willingness to gain a relevant qualification
Experience of producing statutory accounts
Experience of producing management accounts
Use of computerised account packages
Charity accounting principles would be highly desirable
