    The Role:As a FullTime Outdoor/Forest Teacher at our wonderful preparatoryschool you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging andexperiential learning opportunities that inspire and empowerstudents. Key responsibilitiesinclude:

    • Planning and deliveringoutdoor learning sessions forest school activities and adventurousexperiences that promote curiosity creativity andteamwork.
    • Integrating outdoor education intothe curriculum across all age groups from Reception to Year 8 toenhance learning and personaldevelopment.
    • Creating a safe and supportivelearning environment where students feel encouraged to take riskschallenge themselves and develop essential lifeskills.
    • Collaborating with colleagues to designcrosscurricular projects and thematic units that incorporateoutdoor learning principles.
    • Evaluating theimpact of outdoor education initiatives and providing feedback toinform future planning anddevelopment.

    Requirements:To excel in this role candidates should possess the followingqualifications andattributes:

    • Qualified Teacher Status(QTS) and relevant experience teaching across the preparatory agerange from Reception to Year 8.
    • A passion foroutdoor education and a strong understanding of forest schoolprinciples outdoor learning pedagogy and riskmanagement.
    • Excellent communicationinterpersonal and organizationalskills.
