    Job Description

    Class Teacher x5, £32, - £48,

    Permanent

    Full Time - 35 hours per week

    Midlothian has a variety of schools, including primary schools with nurseries, a special school for children with different needs, and a mix of rural and urban catchments. Some schools are new and there are more in the planning.

    Interviews will be held week beginning 10th June

    Requirements

    Pre Employment Checks/Requirements for Teaching Positions

    If successful, employment offer will be conditional on completion of pre-employment checks like medical screening, references, qualification verification, eligibility to work in the UK, General Teaching Council registration, and PVG check.

    General Teaching Council Scotland

    Teachers must be registered with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) for permanent posts. More details on registration can be found.

    This position involves working with children and requires a PVG Scheme membership. Successful candidates need to pay for the membership, which will be reimbursed in installments through salary deductions.
