My client is recruiting for an Accountant to join the Head Office finance function in a newly created role to support the UK Central Accounting team.
The role is based close to Leeds City Centre and offers onsite parking.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader, offering study support and great exposure in a busy Head Office environment.
Reporting to the UK FC, responsibilities will include:
- Balancesheet reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts analysis and nominal account review
- Managing accounts queries
- Journal preparation and processing
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Reviewing weekly payment runs
- An experienced part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA PQ or AAT Qualified) or a QBE
- Experienced as an assistant accountant with strong nominal/general ledger skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
