Commercial Finance AnalystDo you have experience within a global manufacturing business?MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a FMCG business in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst.

This is a permanent role based in York.

The Commercial Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team by providing valuable financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise marketing investments, evaluate campaign performance, and drive strategic decision-making.

This role offers a unique blend of finance and marketing, providing an exciting opportunity to influence business outcomes and contribute to brand growth.

Conduct financial analysis to assess the ROI of marketing initiatives, including advertising campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Utilise financial modelling and forecasting techniques to predict future performance and identify areas for improvement.

Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing activities, such as sales trends, customer acquisition costs, and market share.

Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate financial performance, trends, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualified accountant ideally ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalentProven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a marketing or consumer goods environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts into actionable recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
