    We have an opportunity for a Helpdesk Despatcher to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department based in St.

    Albans
    This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern working 5 out of 7 days
    Applicants should meet the following criteria:
    Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
    Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
    Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment.
    Sterile services knowledge
    Must have good administration and computer skills
    Duties of this role include:
    To provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments
    To assist in the answering of calls from customers and preparing/amending tray lists
    To assist with the ordering and storage of supplies as required.
    To dispatch instruments to various locations as required.

    To assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.

    To maintain good working relationships with all customers and staff.
    To assist with stock levels and stock control.
    To promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department
    To ensure processes are followed and in accordance with policies and procedures
