Great opportunity for an Operational Risk Manager to join a leading building society to support the establishing, maintenance and embedding of an effective Operational Risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Group's reputation for the effective and efficient management of operational risk, which is recognised as such both externally and internally.
Contribute towards the minimisation of the Group's exposure to operational risk and limit any associated exposures within the Group's operational risk appetite.
Ensuring that an effective training and support framework in relation to operational risk management is established and maintained throughout the Group.
Ensuring that the business is kept abreast of all developing operational risk management legislation and regulation; conduct gap analysis and impact assessments against all publications and make appropriate recommendations to the CRO, ERG and RACCC.
Ensuring that effective risk management systems and technology are established and maintained throughout the Group to ensure effective and efficient operational risk management.
Maintenance of the Group's Operational Risk Policy to ensure that it aligns to changes in regulatory/ legislative requirements and guidance.
Effective development, implementation and delivery of the annual operational risk assurance plan in accordance with all relevant regulatory/ legislative requirements and guidance.
Effective management of the relationship with all third parties that provide operational risk management services / products / systems.
