    Our client school is looking for a KS1teacher based in the heart of Westminster This is an opportunityto work within an amazing primary school in West London. The schoolis looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching anacademic yet creative topicbased curriculum in a school withexceptional pastoral care. The successful KS1 Teacher will have the opportunity towork in an environment that values education and learning utilizingtheir skills and experience to make a meaningful difference to thelives of students. The ideal candidate will have a strongunderstanding of the KS1 curriculum a passion for teaching and theability to create an inclusive and safe classroomenvironment.

    KS1Teacher responsibilities:

    Planprepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to KS1students using creativity and innovation to keep the studentsengaged.

    Assess and evaluate student progressproviding formal and informal feedback to students andparents.

    Collaborate with colleagues to planprepare and participate in school events including extracurricularactivities.

    Establish and maintain open andpositive communication with students parents andcolleagues.

    Utilise a studentcentered approachto teaching encouraging independent thinking andproblemsolving.

    Incorporate inclusive practicesinto teaching approaches recognising the diverse needs ofstudents.

    Ensure accurate recordkeepingincluding attendance records and student data in line with theschoolspolicies.

    KS1Teacher requirements:

    QTS PGCEand strong academic record

    Experience teachingkey stage 1 students.

    Knowledge andunderstanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage1.

    Excellent communication skills both verbaland written.

    Highly organised and able to managecompeting demands effectively.

    Demonstratedability to work effectively as part of a team.

    Passionate about teaching and creating a positive learningenvironment.

    Salary

    Thesalary for this KS1 position will be paid to scale on a permanentcontract to scaleMPS/UPS.
