About the role

The position of the marketing communications co-ordinator includes the operational support of all marketing measures for the UK & Ireland BayWa r.e.

Projects' branch, reporting into the Head of Marketing and Communications.

The role covers all measures to promote the area of solar, storage and wind project development and execution (ground-mounted systems, co-located systems, Floating-PV, Agri-PV, onshore and offshore Wind) in UK & Ireland and carries out these in accordance with the corporate guidelines and the guidelines of the global Product Marketing, established within the Business Entities Wind, Solar and Storage.


What You Will Do:


  • Responsibilities we will trust you with:
  • Operational assistance to deliver marketing strategies for the UK Project entity, covering solar, storage and wind project planning;
  • Support in organising events (including trade shows, solar/wind farm openings, exhibition and community outreach events);
  • Creating digital and print marketing assets;
  • Content creation for external and internal channels (including the website, internal communications, advertorials, leaflets, posters, videos etc.);
  • Website management;
  • Maintenance of up to date marketing archives;
  • Liaison with UK, Ireland and global team members to execute marketing campaigns.

What You Bring:


  • You have a degree with a focus on marketing / communication or a comparable education preferably with professional experience in marketing, ideally in the renewable energies / solar or wind sector;
  • You have experience with creating content for Social Media, especially LinkedIn;
  • You ideally have experience with creating marketing assets on Canva, inDesign, and Adobe Acrobat;
  • You speak and write fluent English;
  • You have a confident demeanor and are assertive;
  • You are proactive and open and are not afraid to approach external and internal stakeholders;
  • You can work selfresponsibly, but are still a real team player;
  • You maintain organised even when there is a lot of work and are able to deliver projects on time;
  • You have a confident writing style and a good sense of language and communication relevant to the respective channels of communication;
  • Ability to be flexible and travel to sites and events across the UK and Republic of Ireland on occasion;
  • Clean Driving licence;
  • In possession of the right to work in the UK.
