    Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased)

    Location: Westminster, London

    Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the dynamic team.

    Role Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of a large commercial site in Westminster. The ideal candidate will come from a Building Services background with an electrical bias, possessing expertise in various systems including boilers, air handling units, fan coils, plant machinery, emergency lighting, plumbing, and L8 compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on a range of building services equipment.
    • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
    • Performing repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure optimal performance and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Monitoring equipment performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Participating in the on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies as required.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in a similar role within the building services or facilities management sector.
    • Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 236/2330, 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
    • Strong knowledge and practical skills in maintaining and repairing boilers, air handling units, fan coils, and other mechanical systems.
    • Familiarity with plumbing systems and L8 Legionella compliance.
    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • A proactive approach to health and safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
