Description
Mane are currently recruiting for Electrical Fitters for our world leading Aerospace Manufacturer in Cambridge.Key Responsibilities
Execute tasks across various aspects of electrical work, prioritising adherence to deadlines.
Assemble electrical harnesses, components, and control modules.
Conduct tests and inspections of electrical assemblies.
Install electrical components into units, with experience in FRM's.
Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
Meet designated production targets.
Ensure products meet quality standards from the outset.
Adhere to Health & Safety standards consistently.
Maintain a well-organised and safe work area.
Enhance production flow efficiency and provide suggestions for workflow improvements.
Escalate issues to line management when necessary.
Keep supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and well-maintained to comply with quality and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Education, and Skills
Knowledge:
Experience in a production environment.
Electrical experience, preferably 3 to 5 years in aerospace.
Proficient IT skills, including a working knowledge of MRP.
Education:
Preferably completed a time-served apprenticeship with an electrical focus.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management.
Strong communication and team-working abilities.
High regard for Health and Safety practices.
Open to giving and receiving feedback, contributing to a positive team spirit.
