Salary:
£ 40,000 - £ 47,000 p.a. + pension.

Suitable for:
Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Design Engineer.

The Role
Develop concepts and production designs of components and assemblies from system level requirements through to final definition.

Create CAD models, assemblies, drawings and specifications according to best practice and corporate standards.

Designof machinetoolassembliesand associated systems

Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to find effective and cost-effectively solutions that meet design requirements.

Work as part of the customer facing team

Work with production to validate designs

Actively improve the Mechanical Engineering best-practices, processes and standards.

Support the continuous improvement of the Design Engineering function.

The Person
Relevant Engineering degree is preferred but not essential

Must have a meticulous, disciplined approach and work to a high level of accuracy

Be able to work from fundamental engineering principles where best practices and standards are not available

Capable of working in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Experience of NX essential
