We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Repairs Manager to join our growing in-house Maintenance Team This is a Fixed-Term contract for an initial period of 5 months and is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skillest and provide their expertise in a busy maintenance function.

In this varied role, you'll be managing and motivating a team of Trades Supervisors & multi-skilled trade operatives.

You'll also lead on circa £5million per annum worth of in-house responsive repairs and void property maintenance across Midland Heart's properties – supporting us to ensure that our homes remain places that our customers are proud to call home.

Always with the customer in mind, you'll also work with colleagues across our organisation to ensure a seamless first-class responsive repairs service that is contractually compliant, timely, cost effective and safe – always striving to improve our service and ensure high customer satisfaction.

You'll hold a HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a Building Construction discipline or hold the equivalent level of expertise as demonstrated through previous work experience in a similar role.

You'll have a thorough understanding of and experience applying construction, repairs and maintenance technology; building quality standards and regulations; planning requirements; as well as relevant health & safety and fire safety legislation.

Importantly you'll demonstrate previous experience of successfully leading a multi-disciplined team of Trades Supervisors and contractors – motivating and inspiring them to deliver a first-class repairs and maintenance service.
