    The role holder will assist and support the Treasury Manager in providing a full Treasury function to the countries falling within the scope of the Finance Shared Service Centre, Northern Europe Zone.

    The role holder will need to be familiar with financial and banking matters in a centralised cash management environment, where cash is pooled to the Group parent on a daily basis.

    Manage the daily performance and results of a team of cash processors (cashiers)
    Some informal authority over other departments to maintain control, compliance and accuracy - can escalate to Treasury Manager
    The role occasionally supports the implementation of small development projects, coordinating the activities of internal and external teams
    Support the improvement of the performance / targets / KPIs of the centralised Treasury team, ensuring high quality and continuous improvement through the use of action plans
    Responsible for monitoring and improving service level agreements
    a number of banks and other financial institutions, insurance agencies, statutory auditors, third party software suppliers and legal advisors
    Financial services are provided to full scope Northern Europe so there are multiple internal customers; Operational Finance, Operational Managers (bonds, guarantees), Corporate Finance Function (London), Internal Control, IS&T, Finance SSC Peers and Group Treasury
    Bank repository and account administration (opening,closing, linking to systems etc)
    Analyse financial results (external cost of financing, forex)
    Responsibility for analysing financial lines in Vector (financial debt, cash & cash equivalent, working capital etc)
    Provide and analyse cash flow forecasts and actuals to Treasury Manager, including the explanation of discrepancies
    Finance / Treasury / Accounting qualification
    ~ Treasury experience
    ~ Accounting knowledge
    ~(has ideally obtained some accounting qualifications and worked in a Treasury environment)
    ~ Understands Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
    ~ Understands relevant accounting standards (IFRS)
