    1 x Site Services Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) - Full Time, Permanent

    Location: Hemel Hempstead DC

    Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

    This is an onsite role at our Hemel Hempstead DC, HP2 7EQ

    Position Summary:

    A versatile role that requires you to be part of a successful maintenance team. The role will consist primarily of all site electrical maintenance and electrical installation works required onsite. This role will also consist of undertaking other maintenance activities, including planned preventative maintenance inspections, with detailed reports and summaries of all site equipment issues being reported back to the Site Services Manager.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Provide specialist advice on all electrical work practices for design, installations and execution
    • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults or defects
    • To support a 24 hour call out service, on a weekly rota
    • Assist with external contractors, control and management
    • Maintain accurate job and service records
    • Aid with the installation and repairs to electrical equipment
    • Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
    • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
    • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment
    • Provide support to other trades as required
    • Additional works as required by site manager
    • Contractor control

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • C&G Level th Edition qualification
    • C&G Level electrical installation
    • Experience in planned Preventative Maintenance Systems
    • Competent in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Demonstrate a good track record of achieving result

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • C&G inspection and testing
    • Experience of HVAC systems
    • C&G PAT testing
    • MHE and MWEP training
    • Experience of working with an Ammonia Refrigeration Plant
    • Previous experience working within production and warehouse environment
    • Experience with Racking services
