    Job Description

    Maintain IT hardware and software asset tracking in the asset management system. Track and report on effectiveness of IT Asset Management, reporting compliance against the IT Asset Management policies and processes. Responsible for IT Asset Management related data.

    You will also

    • Manage hardware and software product lifecycles
    • Maintain and monitor hardware/software catalog to ensure compliance
    • Maintain IT Asset management related data
    • Track and report on IT Asset obligations to maintain compliance
    • Track and report on IT equipment and replacement processes
    • Track and report on software and hardware utilization and make recommendations for optimisation
    • Continually review ITAM processes and policies for refinement
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of IT Asset Management and the ITAM Tooling
    • Participate in UAT for use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving ITAM functionality
    • Report on all aspects of IT Asset Management; goals, objectives, governance and compliance
    • Be an advocate for the value of ITAM and the ITAM capabilities of the platform and how to use them to generate value for the organisation
    Qualifications

    To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate

    • Proven track record in IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software) in a large enterprise environment
    • Proven track record with ServiceNow and able to demonstrate an expert level of functional knowledge of HAM Pro and SAM Pro
    • Customer focused; delivering a value-added service to customers
    • Experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable, but not essential Educated to Certificate of Education Advanced Level
    • ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Fundamentals
    • ServiceNow Software Asset Management Fundamentals
    • ITIL V4 Foundation
    • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and disseminate data in a meaningful way
    • Deep analytical skills with an sound capability in data analysis
    • Demonstrates good functional expertise of HAM Pro and SAM Pro within the NOW Platform
    • Collaborative, open working, resulting in recognition as a valued partner by colleagues, customers and senior stakeholders across the organisation
    • Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge and assess when to escalate issues
    • Demonstrates a passion for and commitment to continuous personal professional development
