News and Locations Editor / £45,000 - £50,000 / London (Hybrid) / Permanent

Overview:

My client, a media brand part of the larger Global Data brand are looking for an experienced News and Locations Editor to join them on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role will be to research, write and upload editorial content for their internationalproduct that connects professionals to a variety of production service companies and crew worldwide
.

Role & Responsibilities:

Generate daily online B2B international film and TV news content for a Film, TV and video company
Host panels, moderate webinars and live events
Create content for the company's annual printed production guide
Opportunity to travel to production industry events in the UK and overseas
Commission freelance writers when required to produce indepth articles
Work with sales & product development teams to drive brand growth, and contribute to the commercial success of the brands

Essential skills & Experience:

Excellent copy write and written content skills
Knowledge of and interest in how films and highend TV dramas are produced
Keen to network
Confidence to host discussion panels and moderate at festivals and events when required
Excellent research skills
Ability to multitask and priories daily assignments
Experience of using Google Analytics
