- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Conduct comprehensive audit planning, risk assessment, and budgeting.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients, contributing to their business growth and financial performance.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional client service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting regulations, and changes in auditing standards.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP) and auditing standards (ISA).
- Excellent understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
