- Engage and empower managers and employees to highlight and implement continuous safety improvements.
- Ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation, compliance with EHS requirements, and achievement of EHS KPIs.
- Working as part of a cross-functional team in the assigned Business Unit, provide support to the management team and employees to achieve safety and environmental goals & objectives in line with the overall campus goals and objectives.
- Implement a range of EHS programs in conjunction with the EHS Team – e.g. EHS Auditing; Risk Assesssment; Permit to Work; EHS Promotional Activities; Accident/Incident Investigation; EHS Training.
- Lead a number of EHS programs campus-wide – e.g. Ergonomics, Behavioural Safety, Chemical Safety.
- This role offers autonomy and ownership for assigned projects/areas/programs, whilst having the support of an experienced EHS Team.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- 3rd level degree in Engineering, Science, Health & Safety, Environmental Science or similar (if primary degree is in Engineering/Science, then additional EHS focused qualification is preferred).
- Minimum 8 years EHS experience in pharmaceutical / medical device industry.
- Proven track record of leading projects and/or people.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining close attention to detail
