Description

Senior Finance Advisor

Brighton, Hybrid

Up to £27,000

Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for a Senior Finance Advisor to join our growing Central Accounting Team, who is responsible for processing all accounting transactions for our Head-office and specified centres in the UK, India and Australia.

You'll be responsible for a number of UK Centres & Head Office Companies, and will ensure that complete and accurate financial information (at trial balance level) is provided on a timely basis.

This is a really broad role and will suit someone who has had previous experience in a Finance role.

You'll get to build relationships with our wider teams, learn from an experienced team of 6 Finance experts and gain a deeper understanding of accounting within a global organisation.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Preparation of trial balances for specific INTO Centres
  • Preparing monthend journals including prepayments and accruals, payroll, depreciation and any other adjustment journals.
  • Processing monthly Revenue and keep monthly Deferred Income Schedule up to date, using the salesforce RevRec model.
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and post monthly depreciation charges.
  • Updating monthly control accounts to ensure accuracy of the Balance Sheet, ensuring that intercompany accounts reconcile.
  • Assisting the Management Accountant for each Centre with their month end review and helping to investigate any queries with the accounts.
  • Preparation of Internal and External Audit files and relevant audit schedules and helping to deal with audit queries
  • Other adhoc projects and requests as required.
  • Covering for other team members during absences or assisting in other functions at our request.
  • Involve in the preparation of tax packs for JVs
  • Involve in the preparation of quarterly VAT and/or GST returns for JVs.

We offer hybrid working, with two days a week in the office so you can still enjoy that team dynamic.

When you come to the office, you'll be based in the heart of Brighton, with access to some of the best coffee in the UK, delicious food options, parks, gyms and the seafront all within walking distance.

The central location means excellent transport links just are just a short stroll away.
