    We are looking to

  • The Childminding Team Manager role will be responsible for line managing three locality based Childminder Network Coordinators whose key purpose is to offer support, information and training to the childminding sector in order to enhance the quality of practice and provision and in turn improve the well-being and outcomes for children.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead on the development of the boroughs Quality Assurance Childminding Network and ensure the borough has sufficient number of high quality childminders to meet demand
  • To lead on Pre-registration training programme for those wishing to become childminders
  • To develop processes for providing accurate information regarding availability of childcare places within the childminding sector for publication on the childcare information website and to lead on brokering service for parents/family support in seeking suitable childminder placements
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of a range of support, advice and training to that is high quality and evidence-based to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved
  • To work in partnership with internal and external agencies to identify and maximise internal and external funding available /generated in order to deliver quality services
  • To use national and local benchmarking data regarding EYFS to monitor and improve performance and outcomes
  • To support with any safeguarding/allegations investigations
  • To provide line management support/supervision for the team
