We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our global team in our Luton, UK (Hybrid) office.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:
    The Solutions Engineer position combines technical and product knowledge with sales skills to provide pre-sales support to potential customers. Acting as a strategic partner in the team selling process, identifying opportunities for product differentiation, and crafting compelling value propositions that resonate with potential customers. Close collaboration with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions that meet those needs. The role involves effective communication, product demonstrations, and building strong relationships with customers.

    YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

    • Technical :
      • Develop a deep understanding of OAG's products & services focusing on newer products, including their features, functionalities, and technical aspects.
      • Basic SQL skills and experience working with large datasets. Snowflake experience a plus.
      • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products.
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, detailed use cases, and propose technical solutions.
    • Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and technical explanations to potential customers.
    • Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process.
    • Become the go-to resource for the sales team on all OAG and Infare products.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their business goals and aligning technical solutions accordingly.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for customizations or additional features.
    • Engage with customers in person with the sales team to dig deep into the customer's problems, IT architecture, data needs, and ability to utilize OAG delivery methods.
    • Proposal Development :
      • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and documentation for customers.
      • Ensure that proposals meet technical requirements and are aligned with customer expectations.
      • Understand the nuances of data use to put the correct value on the products on offer.
    • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and support, to relay customer feedback and improve products or services.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize the sales process.
    • Strong participation in Squads for Metis Products where asked. Key vocal input.
    • Feedback for product management. Gathering customer insights and feedback, ensuring our solutions evolve in line with market demands and customer expectations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.
    • Training and Support :
    • Provide training to sales teams on technical aspects of products or services.
    • Support the post-sales process by assisting with product implementation and addressing technical issues.

    IF YOU HAVE:

    • 2-4 years experience in a similar sales or technical role.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
    • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
    • Airline or Aviation experience is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Sales acumen and customer-focused mindset.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
    • Ability to travel required – 5-10%.
