Forest and Land Scotland (FLS) are looking for a Civil Engineer to manage the team and programme of work in Central Scotland.

We are responsible for managing public land in the Trossachs, across Cowal and around Loch Lomond and the towns in the Central belt.

You will support and manage the team which plans and builds new roads and bridges, identifies and manages quarry sites and supports the implementation of recreation infrastructure.

The role has its challenges - we have to tackle working on steep slopes, along coasts, in highly designated areas and in iconic locations.

You will provide technical support, ensuring that design solutions are workable and cost effective, and help to ensure that the team manage contracts and budgets professionally.
