    Description

    As the Senior Manager of Pricing here at EDF, you will have overall responsibility for the end-to-end pricing of EDF Business Solutions (EBS) import and export customers.

    You will have 4 team managers working directly for you focussed on central pricing, bespoke pricing, contract delivery and pricing performance. During your tenure you will, amongst others, be required to integrate gas pricing into the team and support mandatory industry change initiatives.

    The role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract and reports to the EBS Head of Core Services. This is a senior level position and will form part of the EBS Core Services Management team.

    What you'll be doing

    Leading the team
    Build and lead a highly talented, motivated and effective team – upholding diversity, inclusion and engagement to the highest standard and creating space for people to be the best version of themselves.

    Planning and Strategy
    Develop the blueprint of the optimal pricing function, including the right-sourcing strategy and lead through the implementation of this blueprint. Own and develop the relationship with the partners including the offshore partner.

    Operational Excellence
    Own the end-to-end operational pricing processes including the documentation of key processes. Create and maintain a governance and control framework for pricing operations. Provide expertise and technical knowledge on all EBS products, covering Mid, Large, Export and NOC

    Ensure on time and accurate delivery of all quotes, flexibility contract offers, billing rates, reconciliations, re-forecasts, calculation of contract charges such as early termination fees etc.

    Delivery
    Head up the timely and accurate loading of energy costs, some non-energy costs and internal costs in pricing engines to ensure competitive and accurate cost stack for all offers.

    Define and develop pricing policy and principles. Recommend pricing principles for the long term in order to maximise the value of the portfolio.

    Approval of c£100m in "manual billing" processes.

    Support the building of a cost-reflective cost stack for strategic tenders and the volume management activities and timely volume forecast adjustments.

    Technology
    Own the Oracle Pricing systems and work with the Customer Operations, BC&I and the I&C Operations teams to recommend and contribute to any action/project necessary to maintain or enhance the systems

    Own tactical pricing tools and ensure they are deployed with a favourable risk/reward balance.
