    Job Description

    As a Business Strategy Associate you will support LGIM Real Assets Equity Head of Business Strategy in developing and executing on strategic ambitions and support LGIM Head of Real Assets Equity Investment Solutions on delivering an enhanced engagement programme for Strategic Clients.

    Duties to include:

    Business Strategy Support

    Support priority projects and elevate the positioning and awareness of our business strategy looking for opportunity to drive connectivity across LGIM and Group including:
  • Support the production of metrics/MI and business level reports including relevant Board and Exco reporting ensuring consistency, timeliness, adherence to appropriate governance and identifying areas of improvement
  • Support the delivery of the SLT meetings, strategy days and other key events including coordinating and suggesting content and agendas
  • Gather market intelligence on industry trends and competition, supporting continuous evaluation of strategic aims and informed decision making
  • Work with Marketing to agree priorities around award submissions, review and revise the process for submissions
  • Build close links other teams such as Strategic Change, Distribution and Marketing team to understand priorities and build communication programmes that are fully aligned to the business strategy
    Strategic Client Engagement
  • Create and deliver a programme of engagement including appropriate trips, events and conferences, organising and planning agendas and coordinating key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ensure stakeholders are supported with appropriate briefing and marketing materials aligned with Private Credit, the wider Real Assets platform, LGIM and Group
  • Collaborate with LGIM Distribution to share relevant client information and ensure consistent messaging

  • Drive a true OneLGIM culture
  • Ensure a risk and compliance-aware culture is promoted at all times
  • Support an ongoing focus on product performance and team capabilities
  • Role model the behaviours that underpin the organisation's values and apply them in all interactions and at all levels in the organisation
  • Identify opportunities and initiatives for support a diverse and inclusive culture in RAE
    Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high quality outputs within an everchanging landscape
  • Comfortable and able to manage multiple stakeholders and differing priorities at once
  • Experience with use of PowerPoint to produce outputs for management
  • Financial Services experience a bonus, particularly in investment management and more specifically private assets
