    About the role

    We're seeking a skilled and experienced People Insights Consultant to join our People Insights Team.

    As a People Insights Consultant, you'll be responsible for harnessing people data and leveraging advanced analytics and statistical techniques to create decision-enabling insights that address key people-related business questions.

    You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.


    What you'll be doing:


    Support the auditing and mapping of stakeholder HR Insights requirements across our key customer personas, particularly HRBPs, HR COEs and Senior Leaders.

    Partner with People business customers and other stakeholders, challenging where appropriate.
    Work with a range of analytics technologies and tools to deliver products within ethical boundaries, challenging where appropriate.

    Apply initiative and expertise to draw insights from data and uses simple storytelling to support action-oriented insights for People business customers.

    Seek opportunities to embed decision-enabling insights on an ongoing basis into customer processes so their value continues to endure.
    Partner with the Reporting arm of the Insights COE to support delivery of products where necessary.

    Work in collaboration with People Analytics SMEs that are outside the COE but embedded in Business Units, for example, Health, Insurance, Ireland.

    About you


    What we're looking for:


    Expert in Microsoft Excel and Access, including knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and its application for process automation in Excel and Access.

    Confident in SQL, including Microsoft SSMS, SSIS and SSRS.
    Strong stakeholder management skills.
    Proven ability to balance own workstack of competing demands and deliver at pace.
    Strong data visualisation and storytelling skills.
    Knowledge of HR processes and the delivery of HR analytics products.

    Proven experience of successfully supporting insights-based projects, where analytics techniques or tools are used to solve HR or business problems.

    Experience of using statistical software packages, such as SAS, SPSS or R Studio, plus Big Data concepts and technologies such as Python, MapReduce, Hadoop, and a desire to learn more in this field.

    Knowledge or experience of Oracle PeopleSoft Query Manager, Oracle BI Architecture, Oracle BI Analysis Editor and Oracle BI Dashboards, QlikView and Workday is an advantage.


    As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
