Our client is one of the UK leading utility suppliers, servicing a large number of customers in England, Scotland & Wales.

As part of the Technical Engineering Team, you will supporting the safe design and installation of projects and contributing to external technical decisions within the industry.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Engineer to work remotely, but also be flexible to travel to operational sites and customer locations around the UK.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have a full UK driving license.
Designing and gaining approval for installation projects/layouts for external customers.
Advising teams of necessary equipment and tools for installations
Expertly supporting incident investigations and quality improvement initiatives
Leading and taking on a hands-on approach to long term projects.
Consistently complying with company and industrial guidelines, standards, processes, and legislation.
Continuously maintaining a strong knowledge of industry best practices and completing necessary training as required
A background covering various technical disciplines, ideally including mechanical, process and electrical engineering.
Strong working knowledge of safety and risk management
Experience working on long term projects would be advantageous.
Strong computer literacy and the ability to pick up new software quickly.
Capacity to make quick, clear decisions which may include tough choices or considered risks.
