Position Overview:

My team and I are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the development and implementation of data visualizations aimed at enhancing performance for a public sector education institution. This role sits within the Strategy and Planning department and offers a unique opportunity to influence key institutional strategies through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• :Lead analyses of both internal and external datasets to evaluate performance across various faculties and schools within the University
• .Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to a team of BI analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely, and responsive services aligned with organizational priorities
• .Source data, conduct analyses, and present insights, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders in formats tailored to their needs
• .Stay abreast of developments in the Higher Education sector, contributing to the continuous enhancement of technical expertise within the team
• .Actively participate in working groups and team meetings, sharing best practices and insights garnered through evaluation exercises
• .Foster internal networks and collaborations across the University to understand and address evolving needs
• .Manage larger multifaceted analyses, taking ownership of specific aspects and contributing to final reporting to senior management and academics
• .Contribute to the annual cycle of business intelligence provision and undertake ad-hoc analyses as required
• .Assist in maintaining self-service data visualizations and facilitate the transition of reference datasets to the University's new data service
• .Oversee the training of staff across the University on MI reports and analytical outputs produced by the team

• l:Proven experience in an analytical role or within a business intelligence tea
• m.Demonstrable expertise in producing high-quality business intelligence and analytical outputs, including data access, interrogation, interpretation, and reportin
• g.Strong proficiency in data visualization, statistical analysis, or data science techniques to inform strategic decision-makin
• g.Project management experience, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver work under pressure and within tight deadline
• s.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audience
• s.Strong team player with experience in training, managing, and overseeing the work of other
