    Role: Designer

    Company: Renowned brand in Finance, headquartered in London

    Contract: 3 month rolling to permanent

    Day Rate: £350

    Hybrid: 3 Days in the office

    The Role

    The designer will apply their strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and data visualisation skills, by interpreting complex ideas and translating them into compelling designs. We are looking for a designer who isn't scared to work on presentations. Teamwork is at the heart of the company's Creative Studio culture and values. Collaboration skills are paramount within this role.

    About You

    • You will have a strong experience working in an in-house or agency environment as a graphic designer or very similar role. You must have a stand-out portfolio (pdf or website) showcasing relevant experience to apply.
    • You are a people-person, who thrives when working with your clients. You can effectively communicate and deliver presentations and understand how to use storytelling, pace and volume to create clear and compelling propositions.
    • Someone who works well under pressure without sacrificing the quality of their creative work.
    • You're empowered to make your own creative decisions as well as taking direction from senior level designers

    Key Responsibilities

    • Presentations in a range of formats, including: InDesign and PowerPoint
    • Large reports, tenders, editorial and web assets
    • Creating data visualisations, including: graphs, charts and tables
    • Clearly communicating your work and the thinking behind it
    • Enhancing existing presentation slides while promoting the company's visual identity
    • Devising creative and imaginative ways to improve content and make it stand out
    • Creating infographics for multiple platforms and channels

    Skills and Attributes

    • 5+ years experience working for an agency or in-house team
    • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing and colour
    • Self-starter with a positive attitude who works well within a team environment
    • Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders
    • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines independently
    • In depth knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator – Datylon is also a bonus, but not essential
    • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
    • You derive immense pride from your creative work, enhancing each project and adding value
    • Positive attitude towards constructive feedback for professional, and team, development
    • Video and animation skills are a bonus, however, not essential
