    Regional Health Safety Environment Advisor,£50,000 - £65,000 + Package Are you an Regional Health Safety Environment Advisor is looking to join a FTSE 100 business and one of the largest residential developers in the UK, building new homes and communities across England, Scotland and Wales? This forward-thinking company is looking to add to its established Commercial team with the addition of a Regional Health Safety Environment Advisor to cover it's London & North Thames region.

    Responsibilities:
    Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and best practices across operating companies and satellite offices.

    Provide professional advice and guidance to management, site teams, and Site HSE Advisors for effective implementation of the HSE management system.

    Liaise with Site HSE Advisors for site inspections and provide necessary support and encouragement.
    Analyze inspection reports, monitor effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
    Attend HSE Team Meetings and Management Team HSE Review meetings.
    Support and mentor Site HSE Advisors through regular participation in site inspections and development visits.
    Conduct regional HSE audits to measure implementation and ensure consistency of HSE procedures.
    Assist in the close-out of category 'A' and 'B' reports and undertake accident/incident investigations.
    Provide support for the implementation of CDM Regulations and assist in site readiness checks.
    Conduct internal HSE training and facilitate external HSE training sessions.
    Support the vetting of 'high-risk' contractors and assist in the preparation of appointed Principle Contractors.
    Promote knowledge sharing and learning within the HSE function to improve effectiveness.
    Gather statistical information on regional performance and present necessary reports.
    Represent and promote HSE activity and performance with external organizations and governmental bodies.


    Requirements:


    Broad understanding of HSE processes and practical implementation within the house building industry (Essential)Familiarity with HSE legislation/regulations impacting business operations.

    Appropriate health and safety qualification and membership of relevant professional body.
    IT literate with proficiency in report writing and statistics.
    Experience in major house-building operations is preferred.
