Commercial Property Associate

This role will involve advising clients on the full range of property matters, but with particular emphasis on property development work for local authority clients involved in the delivery of regeneration projects.

However the ability to deal with the followingwould be a real plus:

Negotiation of acquisitions, disposals and development agreements
Preparation of robust reports on title and advice notes
Preparation of reports on documents and executive summaries
Both freehold and leasehold transactions
Negotiating with bidders during a competitive dialogue process.

What the firm are looking for:

Experience of development work is essential as is an interest in local authority regeneration projects and a desire to specialise in public sector development.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills key to the role:

Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work
Confidence in working directly with clients
An ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
An aptitude for drafting and legal analysis
Enthusiastic outlook and a keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels
Excellent project management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
A practical and commercial approach
An interest in business development
