    The Offer

    At East Boro our Domiciliary Care and Support Team work flexibly with adults to enable them to live in their own home as independently as possible. As our House Leader you will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in running the Supported Living Service, with specific responsibility for overseeing the Care and Support Services Provided in a designated property. Ensuring that Care and Support Services are person centred and meet the assessed needs of individuals who receive services. Overseeing all aspects of Care and Support provision for individual Service Users in their allocated property, acting as the first point of contact for family, friends and Health and Social care staff

    Shift patterns consist of either Full Time 37 hours per week or we offer Part Time shifts covering between the hours of 8.30am – 10.00pm. Monday – Sunday.

    About you

    You will need:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which demonstrate a 'can do' attitude.

    • NVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or willingness to work towards obtaining qualification)

    • Experience of working with people with a Learning Disability and /or Mental Health need.

    • Experience of leading and/ or directing individuals in a positive and inclusive manner (this experience may have been gained within a work, personal or voluntary setting)

    • IT literate with the ability to adapt to use of variety of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook, and Teams.

    • Ability to work flexibly including weekend, and evenings to ensure that Service Users, needs are being met.

    • To pass our DBS check or be on the DBS update service

    • Verify your right to work in the UK.
