    Salary:Up to62000 perannum

    We are looking for atalented individual who will design implement and maintainPharmaceutical Presss publishing software systems andcustomerfacing digitalproducts.

    Requirements:

    • Designand implement systems and software to meet PhPs requirements usingappropriate tools andmethods.
    • Promote thecreation of highquality code by commitment to practices such astestdriven development pair programming and codereview.
    • Be responsible forthe technical development of all stages of software creationincluding testing; ensure that implementation meets securityperformance and safetyrequirements.
    • Suggestimprovements to the code base development processes tooling andworking practices. Encourage innovation by identifying evaluatingand adoption of emergingtechnologies.
    • Assist withthe design implementation and testing of openAPIs.

    Knowledge& Skills:

    • Ableto demonstrate commercial software developmentexperience.

    • Practicalexperience in system design development testing and operationalstability.

    • Deep knowledgeand experience in Python and its ecosystem patterns andpitfalls.

    • Experienceapplying continuous delivery test driven development and pairprogramming.

    • Experience ofworking in an agile environment and an understanding of Scrumprinciples inparticular.

    • Experiencewriting and consuming RESTful APIs inPython.

    • Experience with AWSservices (Lambda SQS API gatewaysS3).

    TheDirectorate

    This role will workclosely with our Delivery Lead Data Quality Manager Lead ArchitectSoftware Developers and Chief Technology Officer.

    Howwe are currentlyworking

    RPSsupports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able towork from home however there will be an expectation forcollaborative facetoface working on average and typically this maybe something between 48 working days per month at our LondonOffice.
