Hospitality Administrator
REPORTS TO:
Front of House Manager, Front of House Coordinator
WORKING HOURS:37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7
PLACE OF WORK:
Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, BS3 2EJ. Travel to other locations may be required

Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown's sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.
JOB PURPOSE
To support the Front of House Operations team from a recruitment, cost and an administrative point of view.
To ensure all staff have completed the relevant training and qualifications and to ensure the scheduling of events, including matchdays, are accurate and within budget.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Support the FOH management team, to ensure the smooth operation of the department
- Manage, direct and deploy staff to best operational effect
- Coordinate staff scheduling for events, in line with specific requirements and the payroll budget
- Manage the bank of casual staff, nurturing a positive working environment to ensure the best possible retention
- Ensure all staff have received relevant training in order to deliver excellent customer service
- Work in line with Ashton Gate's Mission, Vision and Values, embracing the fastpaced nature of this innovative and progressive venue
- Support the wider Operations team as necessary
- Actively recruit and induct new casual team members and at the same time follow all recruiting process
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (KPIs)
- Host inductions for new recruits
- Update information on events, ensure Events Managers communicated on any changes
- Support with any necessary offer paperwork, references and on boarding communication is completed, ensuring a great employee experience
- Continuously looks for ways to improve our tasks, allowing for processes to be streamlined and improving the experience for our staff and clients
- Problem solves within the role and provide new solutions around how the recruit process can work better
- Identifies and escalates issues, where appropriate to the Management team
- Works constructively, positively, and proactively with teams, managers and the wider group where applicable to achieve consistently high levels of performance and employee satisfaction

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Previous user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy of spelling and grammar, layout and content formation essential
- High organised and efficient approach required
- Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results
- Strong attention to detail, initiative and driving for success
HEALTH & SAFETY
- Responsible for ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times, with relevant paperwork to support
- To ensure all employees complete their trained required to do their job
- Report all incidents and accidents as required
- To report any hazards detected
- To complete and review the risk assessments for the department
