FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
T2M resourcing are recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a successful major group. As Finance Business Partner you will report to the Head of Finance with responsibility for a multi-site division.

This is a fast-moving business, and we seek a qualifiedaccountant who thrives in an environment where you will be directly supporting the business operations (Finance Business Partnering) to achieve the budgeted profit for each location and as a region.

Whilst accounts preparation and finance transaction processesare managed by a central shared services finance team, this is very much a "hands on" role where you will fully utilise your technical accounting skills and commercial acumen to the full.

Salary £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

As Finance Business Partner your remit will include the following:

Deliver monthly financial results and analysis to non-finance management, get involved in contract pricing negotiations with customers and produce the annual budget with regular reforecasts.
Provide commercial support in tendering for new business opportunities, bespoke pricing, fee uplifts and contract renewals, including discussions with funders where required.
Drive improved financial awareness across their region via effective business partnering, finance inductions, workshops and training.
Month end reporting and analysis, provide informative analysis of month end performance for their region, identifying key variances, underlying causes, risks and opportunities to key stakeholders.
Attend monthly business and finance reviews with Managing Director to support and interpret the key financial activity for the region. Make recommendations for improvements to drive commercial benefits.
Support the region in the preparation of business cases and undertake commercial evaluation of new opportunities and development plans in conjunction with operations.

To be successful as Finance Business Partner you will have the following skills and experience:

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Experience of working in a similar capacity in a multi site environment is essential
Proven track record of contract negotiations, pricing, bids and tenders is essential
Strong educational background ideally educated to Degree level.
Possess strong financial reporting and analysis skills with the ability to quickly identify issues / variances and resolve them.
Previous experience (post qualification) of working as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar role where you have supported (and challenged) the operation business management team. The ability to present financial information in away that nonfinance managers will understand is essential
Be confident presenting information at regional management meetings and to attend customer meetings and be actively involved in pricing negotiation
You need to be a selfstarter who can work both independently as part of a team in a corporate environment
