Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to work across both sites of NUH, with the possibility of additional commitments as required following the above integration process, and take part in regular inpatient and outpatient activities.

The clinical work involves complex cardiology inpatients, referrals and outpatient clinics covering a wide range of cardiology sub-specialities.

Out of hours on call commitment (1 in 14 shared with specialist training registrars) is based at the Trent Cardiac Centre and is largely cardiology only.

Some on-call may be shared with G(I)M. The appointee will be expected to support consultants in out-patient work and supervise other clinics on a rotational basis.
