£45,000 - £60,000 DOE

Monday - Friday

Portsmouth

Full-time, Permanent

We are currently looking to recruit for a Senior Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join an Engineering client of ours based in Portsmouth.

Our client is a well established consultancy based specialising in all forms of Electrical and Mechanical aspects ofthe Building Services and Construction Industry.

To be suitable for this position we are looking for someone who has plenty of experience within the industry.

Perhaps you are well versed with working on the tools and looking to step into more of a consultancy position or looking to take a step up intoa more senior role then this could be the role for you.

You will also need to have basic CAD skills to be suitable for this role.

Key duties for this position:

You'll be involved with the practice's principle service of designing mechanical and electrical building services for projects in multiple sectors
Attending meetings, presenting ideas and progress reports to both clients and managers
Coordinating the work of technicians and craftspeople on site
Managing engineering inspection and maintenance programs
Meeting with building services manufacturers and regulators to keep up to date with new product developments

Experience and qualifications needed:

10 years of experience working an Engineer within the mechanical or electrical sector
Basic working knowledge of CAD
University Degree (Building Services) or ONC/HNC Qualification is preferable
Hold a UK driver's license
