    Position Overview:
    As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, accurately processing invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with other finance-related tasks as needed.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
    • Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper coding and authorization.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
    • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and issues.
    Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
    • A degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not required.
    Salary and Benefits:
    This position offers a competitive salary in the range of £24,000 to £28,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
