- Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, Refrigeration, Heat pumps, coolants etc with the ability to apply knowledge to a range of applications and countries
- Ability to develop strategy for Refrigeration, Air flow systems, A/C Compressor rationalisation and Refrigerant compliance to new standards
- Understanding of thermal analysis / CFD modelling and 1D simulation tools (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, etc)
- Experience of HVAC / refrigeration thermal management solutions (e.g., Use of CAE tools for thermal analysis and 1D simulation – Amesim, Altair, Ansys Fluent, Hypermesh, FloTHERM etc
- Able to lead and drive HVAC projects in a fast-paced environment in conjunction with global R&D teams
- An understanding of commercial and technical standards for global cooling/heating systems would be ideal
- Knowledge of interfacing with electronics, ECUs, battery systems etc would be useful
