Site Based Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a leading Facilities Maintenance company based in London, who are now looking to appoint a Site Based Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee three high end residential estates in London.

As a family run business who have been operating over 10 years, you will be joining the company alongside a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, in a position that will yield strong long-term prospects as the company continues to grow.

The Role:

To be responsible for all general electrical, ventilation, electro-mechanical maintenance tasks within the scope of contract for the above-mentioned sites.

Principle Accountabilities

Site Electrical Engineer
Act as the point of contact for the clients.
Work and oversee subcontractors relating to electrical activities.
Proactively contribute to the wider team structure, whilst adhering to the specific requirements outlined in *Key Tasks* below.
Ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed timescales, managing the workload accordingly.
Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities and prioritise business needs.

Key Tasks

Ensure regular electrical maintenance is carried out on time in line with the PPM schedule. Scheduled maintenance duties include but are not limited to, testing fire alarm, smoke control and emergency lighting, BMS, ventilation, electrical inspections,inspecting the plant room/s and electrical maintenance of infrastructure.
Aid in the management of permits, RAMS and health and safety aspects of the site including subcontractors.
To aid where required in the completion a biannual service of all apartments.
Liaise with and effectively help manage subcontractors for both major electrical systems and plant.
Help complete comprehensive site PPM Reports on a monthly basis.
Uphold high levels of communication with the client, responding to queries and requests in a timely manner.
Ensure all service records are recorded accurately, with all relevant information detailed, within the agreed timelines.
Overall, to undertake all reasonable requests in line with this role and the wider business requirements.
To carry out periodic testing of electrical circuits where required
Participation in call out 1 week in 5

Essential experience to be considered include:

18th Edition
Test and Inspection (T&I)
City & Guilds Level 2 &
Service and Maintenance
Reactive works

Package:

- £39,000 - £340,000 per annum

Call out paid at preferential rates
2 x life assurance
Pension Scheme
