Description
Please be aware this post may close early due to high number of applications.This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service within Dumfries and Galloway's Community Health and Social Care Partnership.
Supporting people affected by cancer with their non-clinical needs and concerns, you will be educated to SCVQ Level 7/8 with strong interpersonal skills and a belief in the strengths and resilience inherent in people and communities.
The post is a 19 month fixed term appointment offering a unique opportunity to work with a range of partners across health and social care, third sector and community groups.
The ICJ service delivers a new person-centred service for people affected by cancer to promote self-management and address people's holistic needs.
Working across organisational boundaries, you will work with partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for people affected by cancer.
Please note that we have advertised a similar post with less hours.
This is a part-time post offering flexibility in contracted hours for the right candidates.
This post may involve clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas therefore a current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post.
However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
