Macildowie are working with an established luxury retailer based in Northamptonshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Trade Marketing Manager.

As a Trade Marketing Manager you will be responsible for increasing share of spend and grow revenue throughtrade partners (Retailers, Builders and SDA (specifiers, interior designers and architects)), by using effective brand focused communications, trade marketing, PR, digital marketing, collateral and creating exemplary end-user brand experiences through tradechannels.

The role will report directly into the Head of Marketing and offers excellent benefits and hybrid working.


About the role:


  • Create, develop, implement, execute and report on the annual UK trade marketing plan, aligning with the UK and Global marketing strategy and UK budget growth aspirations
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Translating and maintaining the brand experience for endusers through our trade channels
  • Contributes to the achievement of market share, revenue and margin objectives and overall Business Unit objectives, and optimising the effectiveness of trade marketing investment
  • Influencing stakeholders across all business units within the UK (and Global) to ensure brand experience is consistently maintained across all audiences and at every trade touch point, creating a deep engagement with the brand that is positive, memorable,and consistent with our brand identity
  • Trade advertising be the main point of contact, developing, implementing and executing all trade advertising activities, including liaising with media owners, trade bodies, external agencies and the global marketing design agency team
  • Writing design briefs for global marketing team. Ensuring creative, assets, content, materials, stands etc arrive by deadlines
  • Act as a point of contact for PR to support ongoing trade campaigns, coordinating approved plans, media requests, reports, retailer requests, marketing materials and opportunities
  • 4 years+ marketing experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Trade, retail or B2B marketing experience
  • Ideal, but not essential brand marketing experience
  • Ideal, but not essential luxury marketing experience
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team
