    Marketing Manager

    About The Role

    Dagmar is a fast growing, high-end Scandinavian design brand headquartered in London with a well established global customer base. We are looking for a dynamic and highly experienced Marketing Manager to help us meet our ambitious growth targets over the coming years. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of the furniture and interiors industries in the UK, Europe and USA and a genuine passion for modern design. You will be responsible for creating and executing our global marketing strategy with a particular focus on the UK, US and EU markets in order to maximise revenue growth and customer acquisition across B2B and DTC sales channels. You will work closely with external agencies and freelance creatives to plan and deliver a consistently high standard of written and visual content for our own website and to support our retailer partners.

    As part of a small but rapidly growing team it is essential that you are proactive and comfortable working autonomously. The role requires someone who can build, inspire and motivate a team in order to meet ambitious targets. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with them to shape the long-term brand strategy of the company. An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with demanding clients is essential. Prior experience working in the Scandinavian design industry would be extremely beneficial.     Responsibilities

    • Work with the CEO to design and implement a marketing strategy that will help us meet ambitious B2B & D2C lead-generation targets and maximise digital direct sales via our eCommerce platform
    • Work with front-end developers to optimise our eCommerce platform (Shopify), improve conversion rates and guarantee strong SEO performance
    • Manage the brand's visual identity and messaging so that all customer interactions clear, consistent and meet our very high standards
    • Support the Sales team's expansion of our wholesale dealer network in key markets by providing high-quality marketing assets and visual content
    • Support the Sales team in maintaining and growing our A&D client list to maximise revenue per account
    • Identify and manage 3rd party agencies and content creators to collaborate with in key markets.
    • Plan and coordinate launch events, trade show exhibitions and photoshoots.
    • Prepare and present quarterly marketing reports and forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and trends whilst working closely with the Product Development team to ensure priorities are aligned and budgets allocated efficiently
    • Work closely with the Sales team to maximise the commercial potential of new product launches
    • Maintain and utilise our Google Analytics 4 account

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant marketing experience in a design-oriented industry, (furniture, lighting, interior design, fashion etc.)
    • Proven ability to plan and execute campaigns with tangible lead-generation and sales results
    • Experience and understanding of Shopify CMS or relevant alternative
    • Understanding of CSS and front end development essential
    • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite applications to a reasonable standard
    • Strong commercial sense, industry expertise and broad business knowledge
    • Excellent people management skills and positive attitude
    • Willingness and ability to travel to Europe and the USA as required

    • £50k base salary plus performance related bonus
    • Company profit-share scheme after qualifying period
