Temporary Bookkeeper

Duration:
Minimum 4 weeks to cover sickness

Start Date:
April 15th, 2024

Hours:8:30 am - 4:30 pm (3:45 pm finish on Thursdays)

Location:
Newton Le Willows

Responsibilities:

Utilise Sage 50 for accurate bookkeeping tasks
Manage purchase ledger, including processing invoices and payments
Generate and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) as needed
Maintain and reconcile Petty Cash
Conduct weekly payment runs in accordance with company procedures
Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for financerelated queries

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Sage 50 accounting software
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Ability to manage purchase ledger, POs, and Petty Cash efficiently
Experience with processing weekly payment runs
Excellent communication skills to serve as the main point of contact for finance inquiries

Additional Information:

This is a temporary position to cover for a staff member on sick leave.
The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently to maintain financial records accurately
