The Role:

  • Joining our diverse Adult Provider Payments team you can further your career, whilst making a real difference to the lives of Hampshire residents as part of our Adults' Health and Care directorate.   • You'll lead a team ensuring that care payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You'll have first-class numeracy and IT skills but what we'll value most is your willingness and ability to learn new skills to become an active, adaptable and involved member of our uniquely skilled team.
Your excellent supervisory skills will enable you to be responsible for:

  • Authorising leave.
  • Managing absences.
  • Conducting 1:1 meetings with Query Officers.
  • Training Query Officers.
  • Formulating workplans for the team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicator data is inputted by Query Officers.
  • Highlighting areas in processes which need to be improved.
  • Running reports.
  • Compiling management statistics.
  • Dealing with complex queries that have been escalated to you.
  • You will be matched to either our Technical, Domiciliary or Non-Domiciliary subteam. If you have transferable skills or relevant experience in a customer facing or numerate role, we would love to hear from you.
  • We are currently working from home with the occasional requirement to go into the office for training and focused working, depending on business needs. You can work from the office more regularly if this is something you would prefer. Our core working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
