    The Role:

    As part of the ongoing expansion and enhancement of the Reablement Service in Hampshire, we are thrilled to offer you the chance to become an Occupational Therapist with us. Your main duties will involve conducting comprehensive assessments of Reablement requirements and devising interventions to provide support within a diverse team. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service improvement and creativity.

    By restructuring our services, we guarantee that all staff, including our Occupational Therapists, have access to Advanced Practitioners, Consultants, and a Lead Occupational Therapist to maintain high practice standards in both the Reablement Service and the broader department, guided by the professional practice pillars defined by RCOT 2021.

    Our service is grounded on Occupational Therapy principles, and we are consistently exploring avenues to enhance service delivery. We prioritize personal growth for our staff, with a well-defined workforce development strategy in place where we actively endorse and aid continuous professional development, including formal qualification paths.

    We are deeply committed to collaborating with Health and Social care organizations to promote independence, reduce hospital admissions, and facilitate swift hospital discharges, ultimately enhancing outcomes for the residents of Hampshire.

    We are open to applications from newly qualified Occupational Therapists, and we provide a preceptorship program for them. Operations in the Reablement Service run throughout the week, and you will need to work weekends on a rotating basis of 1 in 8.
