Job Title: Production Planner

Location: West Midlands

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 04:00-12:00

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimising resources and minimising cost
• Collaborate with various departments, including operations, procurement, and logistics to coordinate production activities and ensure timely delivery of products
• Monitor inventory levels and production capacity to identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective action
• To communicate with suppliers/hauliers to ensure timely deliveries to and from the production site.
• Work closely with the sales team to forecast demand and adjust production schedules accordingly
• Responsible for procuring all stock, ingredients, and packaging necessary for planned production.

The successful candidate:

• Strong background in Planning and Supply Chain, preferably FMCG
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills, confident with VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES
• Use of an ERP system is preferable
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
