We are currently seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to join a well-established organisation in the utilities industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's internal communications initiatives.
Role Purpose:
As the Communications Advisor, the individual will be responsible for developing and delivering outcome-focused communications plans.
They will need to have strong business partner experience, exceptional writing skills, and a solid track record of stakeholder engagement and project management.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within our client's team is essential.Ideally, the successful candidate will have a strong digital literacy, with practical experience in using and developing systems such as Share-point, Populo, and Content Management Systems.
Proficiency in editing and creating short videos would be advantageous.Key Accountabilities:
Proactively engaging and supporting key stakeholders and projects, aligning communication plans with our client's wider business goals.
Creating high-quality communication and engagement materials for various local channels, including short videos, visually engaging PowerPoint decks, and written communications for Share-point and newsletters.
Assisting in the delivery of virtual and in-person events, from logistics to interactive content development.Coaching team managers and leaders on effective communication techniques and promoting a listening/two-way approach.
Applying audience segmentation principles to our client's various audience groups, with a specific focus on field colleagues.
Engaging proactively with the business to identify stories and proof points that support the overall narrative of the organisation.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role has a background in regulatory communication, agility, excellent organisational skills, and a strong ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
They should also be comfortable working with technical aspects and be confident in using data to drive communication strategies.If you have the required skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
