About us

Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a
National Credit Controller who has a can-do attitude to join and lead a team of Regional Credit Controllers from our Blackburn office.

Job Purpose

As a
National Credit Controller, you will lead a team of Regional Credit Controllers whlst maintaining the ledger for National Accounts.

You will be working with a small team, reducing debtor days and ensuring payments are received within agreed terms across the accounts.

Responsibilities:

High value key accounts Circa £6 million
Arrange regular meetings with account directors/clients
Run reports from our ERP, SAP B
Regularly update Credit Control Manager on debt reduction
Work closely with Senior Leadership Team, including sharing and frequently updating aged debt reports
Allocating cash receipts and cheques
Ensuring up to date and transparent information for the relevant managers and directors
Work closely with the Invoicing team
Chase queries and follow up where required
Liaising with the Accounting team at Head Office
Manage the Dunning Process on a weekly basis
Weekly review and report on collection progress across all regions
Assisting Credit Control Manager with ad hoc project work as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential
Previous experience of working alongside various sections of Finance
Experience with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, etc. is essential
Experience with financial systems experience with SAP B1 would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitude
